Glimpse Lake summers warm both your body and your soul. Enjoy nature at its peak surrounded by sagebrush, wildlife and golden rolling hills.
Horseback Riding is "Western" style only. The Ranch has over 20 horses available for all calibers of riders. All rides into the wilderness are accompanied and are dependent on the guests' skills and experience. Arrangements for riding groups are initiated by us after your arrival. According to your riding ability and desires for the days, you will be assigned to a group most compatible with you. Prior to riding, you will also have the opportunity to get acquainted with a horse in our paddock, in addition to watching horsemanship demonstrations.
Alex Schuetz, owner and General Manager of Little Beaver Creek Ranch, is a horse whisperer in his own way. For over 35 years he has been working with horses based on communication instead of command, trust, understanding and love instead of pressure. Watch him talking and listening to horses, it is a wonderful gift he worked into his own system of training horses and you will quickly gain trust and confidence that a horse really is your best friend.
Take in the scenic beauty and rich bird and wildlife that nature has to offer. Then of course comes Indian Summer - we call it the nicest time of the year with warm days and cool nights and with leaves turning to brilliant golds and reds.
Enjoy countless picturesque trails - hiking, biking or riding your favorite horse. Take a private riding lesson, join a clinic or train your own horse.
Fly-fishing is the number one recommended way to fish on Glimpse
